Purple Haze Press was founded in 2005 by Vaishali and Elliot to publish Vaishali’s first book You Are What You Love, the accompanying You Are What You Love Playbook and You Are What You Love on CD.

The heart of Purple Haze Press is that an author should have the ability to have all the power to say what they want to say and edit in the style that meets the personality of the book, not the standards of the publishing industry.  And we advocate for the author to receive most of the money too. In the future Purple Haze Press looks forward to supporting other avant-garde authors in bringing their work to the market.

In 2007 Purple Haze Press added to the family author Steven Maines and his first book Longinus: Book 1 of the Merlin Factor.
